Indeed, absolutely perfect weather, and great fun alround. Even Talula the dog thought so in the pub at the end!

What a great day - despite the level of my golf (come back Mr Redman!)

How on earth did Matt organise such brilliant weather for this? How did Alan Horne negotiate a bucket of balls before the round? How did Matt Bevan survive on a single "breakfast in a bun"?

Thanks for arranging such a great day Matt.

Most amusing to see the amusement being spread around, much like the vinegar on AR's bacon last year, oh how we laughed!

Looking forward to tomorrow, whatever the weather!!

Most amused to see Mr Redman being most amused by Mr Bisley. I think we'll all raise a vinegar to you at breakfast, Andy!

This weather doesn't look too pleasant, might have to bring my wellies as well as a new pair of golf shoes following my last pair "perishing" at Leeds Castle.

Most amusing Mr Bisley ~ despite being on holiday I am still keeping an eye on what is being said!!

Post 19: Posted by Will Bisley on Thursday, Feb 11, 2010 at 13:34

I'll be there for the breakfast, as I'll need it for the amount of swinging that I'll be doing on the course...

Could I order some extra vinegar to go on all of our bacon rolls please?

Post 18: Posted by Peter Swain on Thursday, Feb 11, 2010 at 12:59

Nice one. I will be there for breakfast at 10.00. I will need it the amount of walking I'll have to do!

Hockey stick, Croquet mallet, sledge hammer, all are welcome, and equally as effective for me on a golf course...

Post 11: Posted by Colin Wouldham on Tuesday, Feb 02, 2010 at 13:21

Will: "Chelsfield Lake is almost walkable for me"

Now the boy can walk on water! Iron Man extraordinaire!

Post 10: Posted by Peter Swain on Tuesday, Feb 02, 2010 at 13:06

Thanks for the tip Will. Is it ok if I use Elliott's hockey stick instead of a driver? I will be there. Come on, where are the rest of you!

Post 9: Posted by Will Bisley on Monday, Feb 01, 2010 at 16:56

Ok, I've got the 17th booked off, so am raring to go and am ready for the hockey... I'm mean golf...

Post 8: Posted by Will Bisley on Monday, Feb 01, 2010 at 16:30

Cray Valley do very nice breakfasts if that helps sway it, although Chelsfield lakes is almost walkable for me!! I can't lose either way!

Post 7: Posted by Matthew Bulpitt on Monday, Feb 01, 2010 at 12:50

Looking to play at either Chelsfield Lakes, or Cray Valley on Wednesday 17th February.

Will confirm in the next few days, also will be emailing out.

Cheers
Matthew

Not from where I was standing it wasn't (in the sand and the water mainly!!)

Post 5: Posted by Will Bisley on Monday, Feb 01, 2010 at 10:18

If I can get the time off work, I'd be very keen, last year was brilliant!

Post 4: Posted by Andy Redman on Saturday, Jan 30, 2010 at 08:15

I also meant to add my apologies for nets last week and possibly this week also ~ see you on the 7th

Post 3: Posted by Andy Redman on Saturday, Jan 30, 2010 at 08:13

Fortunately I am away that week!

Post 2: Posted by Colin Wouldham on Wednesday, Jan 27, 2010 at 19:18

I'm up for it.

Post 1: Posted by Peter Swain on Wednesday, Jan 27, 2010 at 13:54

I had tentatively discussed a golf day in half term with Matt, possibly on Wednesday 17th February. We all know how much fun this was last year, so who's up for it?
