Type Benjamin Buford 'Bubba' Blue into Google, he's an extremely tanned version of you...

I am lost now. Don't know enough about the story. Who is bubba?

Forest Gump??? That's outrageous. If I'm Forest, that makes you Bubba...

Well for the avoidance of doubt - I'm up for a beer, having also secured a pass smiley for

This banter is all well and good from the VC and Forrest Gump the drinks boy, but is anyone else up for a beer after nets? Would hate to get a pass and waste it! As you might have guessed I have no interest in talking about football or Wembley!

Millwall also appeared at the old Wembley in the final of the same mickey mouse competition that the saints are currently deluding themselves with...

Banter aside, hope you enjoy it Rich.

Post 7: Posted by Richard Page on Friday, Mar 26, 2010 at 10:33

in fairness, Millwall were there last year, in the play off final, where the results escapes me.......

Post 6: Posted by Richard Page on Friday, Mar 26, 2010 at 10:08

that would be Millwall, the year after us, however not at Wembley, but the Millenium stadium...

Post 5: Posted by Colin Wouldham on Thursday, Mar 25, 2010 at 21:01

I'd ask which team has more recently appeared in the FA Cup final, Mr Page...

Post 4: Posted by Richard Page on Thursday, Mar 25, 2010 at 17:04

jealous! - i'll take pictures for you Will, closest you Millwall fans will get to Wembley!!

Post 3: Posted by Will Bisley on Thursday, Mar 25, 2010 at 13:22

You could also look at it this way... You'll be at Wembley to watch the saints again miss out on silverware again, for the 20th season in a row... And whilst your at it you may as well sing about the glory days of Matt Le Tissier, when you still didn't win anything, and flirted with relegations most seasons, despite having the "Messiah" playing for you...

I've now successfully insulted the skipper and vice before the season starts. Are we looking at Elthams new 12th man and perhaps dedicated umpire?

Post 2: Posted by Richard Page on Thursday, Mar 25, 2010 at 13:15

sorry Gents, I won't be able to make it this week as I will be at Wembley, watching Rickie Lambert scoring another hat trick and leading the saints to their first piece of silverware this season........

We thought we might go to the pub after nets this week on 28th March to welcome in BST. Looking forward to a bumper crowd at nets then. Plan is to have nets 5-6pm with shorter batting slots, and then to the pub on Shooters Hill so that Andy can walk home when he has had too many.
