Adam we're up to 14 players for tour but I don't see your name on the list - what's up?! You would be missed if you weren't there!

Matt, take a look at the Bashley Rydal CC website - the front page has their ground at the bottom - it's not like Hall Place!

All sounds good. See you on Saturday to discuss it further.

Richard, Derek has just called me and suggested a committee meeting on Saturday before the game. Can you confirm if you could arrive a bit earlier and we can discuss it then? the main things we need to talk about at the meeting are the meal (to confirm numbers) and the tour, so your input would be good to have.

Perhaps you could confirm here if you could attend, and we'll confirm in the same place if a meeting is going ahead.

Cheers,

Colin

Pete Fish and Colin, if either of you could give me a call or drop me a mail, I have sennt you both a mail from Bashley Rydal CC who are keen to play us on the BH Monday. I can assure you all that this is a top club and would be a good fixture, anyone have any thoughts? - check out their website, easy to find on a quick google search. Other clubs showing interest are Bramshaw CC, New Milton CC, Parley CC, Suttoners CC and Brockenhurst CC. So we may even end up with a choice!? so if any of you guys fancy checking any of these teams out, please do and let us know your thoughts?

thanks Colin, sounds good, I will speak with you and Pete tomorrow and hopefully we can have a set date as a result, with which I can go back to these clubs and try and set the fixtures.

Richard - this sounds great. The previous tours we've done all use the Whitsun Bank Holiday which is the one at the end of May/start of June. If we can get a fixture on the weekend of that Bank Holiday or the Bank Holiday itself, or near then, then I'd hope we can get a team together.

The important bit is that we do this in a teacher's half-term so the likes of Pete Fisher and Matt Bulpitt etc can come along. The rest of us would need to take some holiday potentially from work.

Bashley have just come back to say that they should also be able to accomodate us! we just need to let them know dates.

Hello all, just to keep you all updated, I mailed a number of clubs around the Bournemouth area to see if they were interested in hosting the mighty Eltham CC next summer. I have chased a few up, a few are taking it to their committees and two clubs - New Milton and Parley have said they would like a fixture. Pete Fish - when do you need to know by to cater for this possible tour in the fixtures for next season?
