Interesting sentiments from Tan. We have afterall lost our best net bowling only specialist, albeit one who couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo when there was grass involved...

Marvellous from Tanveer there, commenting on Richard's batting as "questionable"! I wish I could bat as questionably as Richard!

Best of luck with everything Rich, hope everything works out ok and look forward to seeing you all on the Tour!

Good luck with move and your new home Richard! Sure your contributions to the club will be missed (OK batting skills might be questionable by some but I definitely appreciate those). Looking forward to see you on the tour.

Best of luck with the new home Richard. We look forward to seeing you on tour, both as team mate and opposition I believe! Thanks also for the BBQ which will be put to good use (well use anyway) annually for the JETS game.

As you can probably guess by the title of this thread, the Pages are saying goodbye to Eltham and therefore sadly Eltham CC.
After four lovely years in Eltham we have decided the time is right for us to upsticks and move back to the south coast.
Whilst sat here waiting for the removal guys to arrive I thought it only right to post a quick message to thank the cricket club and all members for all they have done for me and my family.
It is fair to say that living away from family and friends is tough, Eltham CC made it a lot easier for us. The most kind and welcoming club and group of people I have ever had the privilege to meet and play alongside. Thankyou to everyone.
I will obviously keep in touch with results and goings on over the website (thanks Col). I am also planning on joining you for the tour fun and games this year, so if you can keep a place free for one of the games Skip I would be most grateful.
I will do all I can to continue to be part of the club, albeit in a non playing capacity, so please keep me in the loop with regards to golf days, charity games and 20/20 days.
It also goes without saying that I am more than happy to help arrange any future tours if you continue to take the Dorset and Hampshire route.
Anyway, I promised it would be a quick note, so i'm off.
Take care everyone, best of luck for the coming seasons and seasons after that....
Rich, Abigail, Evie and Hettie.x
