It was quite hard to score any runs at all (at a decent strike rate), unless your name is P Swain. A certain memer of the team probably had a strike rate of about 0.0001. It was quite windy, as the broken sightscreen was testament to...

The chances of Matt coming up with some good nicknames are remote to say the least Al!

The positives are that we could have kept the quick bowlers on but decided to try to give everyone a game rather than try to rub the oppo's noses in the dirt which we probably could have done. There was a good decision not to put the gazebo up since it was a very windy day and it could have flown off with our tea had we put it up! The wind also helped me get a run out since if I'd been on the other side of the pitch and throwing into the wind, I could only throw the ball about 10 metres!

We collapsed but pulled off the win, in good spirits by this time with the oppo, right at the death.

Can anyone add any more?

Hello champs.

Pete asked me to write a match report for the Downunder Dragons game at the weekend but I think I’ve blocked most of it out of my memory. Apart from the obvious talking points....Colin, Pete & Asjad. Is there anything else of a more positive note that happened? I remember it being a generally good and friendly game but what I’ve drafted sounds a bit negative at the moment. Did Matt come up with any good nicknames, etc..

If not, never mind, I’ll figure something out.
