Hello,

Any chance there is space in the team? Very keen to start playing cricket again smiley for :)

I have emailed a few folk whose email I could find on the site.

Thanks,
Omer

Hi Brad,

Try emailing the team secretary, Pete Swain, on pswain@proun.co.uk - he may be able to get you into the team for an early season match when some of our regulars are away? You could then see what you think?

Cheers,

Colin

So apparently I missed nets. Any opportunity to make that up? I'm still interested in playing if at all possible.
Cheers
Brad

You'll be most welcome Brad. A number of our players may also claim never to have "played the game seriously"! We do have a number of decent players, returning players who haven;t played since school, all sorts really. We hope you can find a niche in our Club!

Great. I'll drop by sometime today.

Apologies for the delay in response...there are a number of players away on holiday and probably not accessing the site as often as usual. If you are a beginner it may be sensible to wait until our winter net sessions start when you can join us for an informal practice and we can offer some advice. You are, however, more than welcome to come down to our ground (details on website) when we have a home game to introduce yourself and meet some of our players. This weekend, for example, is a special fixture to celebrate 150 years of Eltham cricket with a game against Butterflies CC who were our very first opponents.
Thanks for your interest in our club.
Andy
Hon Secretary

Hi all.
I'm new to cricket, having never played seriously, but would love to learn. Are there any opportunities for a beginner?
Cheers
Brad
