With new season on its way, thought it was time to bump this thread. New playerts - please note the jobs that need doing before and after a game.

After the game...

1. Copying up the scorebook from the oppo
2. Washing up/putting away tea stuff
3. Boundary flags collected
4. Help Ray store cricket bags etc

Also the stumps need to be put out, can't forget that. Not as impoprtant as the scorer's table, clearly, but the stumps do still play a minor role in the game.

Particularly minor while I'm bowling, in fact.

Also the table and chairs for scorers need carrying out to the boundary edge and the score board needs putting together. (and putting away again at the end!)

These are the typical match day jobs to be done by members of the Club. Please don't always leave these jobs to the same person, if you see it needs doing, (in the words of a trainer manufacturer) Just Do It!

1. Flags need to be put out on the boundary - depending on where the strip is, you might need to put the flags out further than the marked boundary line

2. In the 6th Form Centre, make sure the urn is full and not on full - it will boil dry if left on high.

3. If the water carrier is empty, fill it with water from the tap on the side of the 6th Form Centre using the washing machine pipe in the utensils box.
