Unfortunately my shot wasn't "kick the ball away from your stumps"!!! My duck was my fault not the shot selected - so no arguments from me. Not sure if it warrented the dancing duck impression from their slip fielder though!

I'd expect nothing less from you Matt but as I recall you were out playing your selected shot, and it doesn't seem fair to include your duck.

Dear all,

Following on from the discussions about the Milford averages, I spent yesterday looking at the score card, and I would propose that the scores are used in this years averages.

I want to reitterate that the decision to not include that games scores was taken before the match, and that it was made to make sure that no-one was disadvantaged. (See mine and Colin's comments in the fixture screen).

However; Peter's, Derek's, Imran's batting and Colin's bowling all deserve to be recognised in the averages, and as far as I can see no-one was out playing a forced stroke, nor bowled out of character in relation to the game.

Therefore players were in control of their game and the standard of the opposition was higher than expected and now knowing as much I support the call for the scores to be included.

I'm not playing on Saturday, so could people have a think so we can get a decision?

See you all on the 13th for Jim's 20/20 against the Jets. Thank you Pete for organising the BBQ. It will be an excellent evening.
