Thanks for the advice ~ I will post a few options in the very near future. Next year I should have a clearer idea about what I should be doing!!

I think a committee meeting is what is required. There are issues that need to be raised at committee level, e.g. finances, dinner, equipment, tour success, strength of opposition, player's etiquette, officers for next year, etc. prior to the AGM.
Also we need to be able to take several proposals (re: the new ground) to the AGM so that it doesn't become a 'free for all' discussion session, which could take forever. If we come up with 3 or 4 options, then the AGM can briefly discuss them and then decide on the most suitable one.
Sometime in September is likely to be most favourable I guess. I should just go for a couple of possible dates and see who's around.

Not sure I can really remember what we do usually at the end of the season. Is there much to talk about? I do seem to recall we met early before the Sidcup game one year.

I think we need to talk about finances for coming seasons in the light of paying rent for a new ground My feeing is that there is a lot of support for playing as many home games as possible at Footscray.

Having spent some time on Club paperwork I now realise that perhaps this should just be a committee meeting ~ could someone advise?

It has been suggested that it would be useful to organise an end of season meeting and I would like to get this in the diary before I head off on holiday. I would be grateful for some guidance as to when would be most helpful to hold this session ~ perhaps early September? It would also be good if members could also indicate items that they would like to include on the agenda.
It won't be long before I will also be asking for your votes for the various awards that we make ~ so, have a think!
Looking forward to the many and varied responses to this thread!
