Well done to Matt (or Brad Pitt, Mr Bull**** as he is also sometimes known) for organisng a great day, and congratulations to the prize winners. I wont ask what Will was doing to his cats on Friday for fear of alarming the RSPCA!

Post 31: Posted by Will Bisley on Saturday, Feb 21, 2009 at 12:19

It was a great day! Many thanks to Brad Pitt for organising it. When I got home, I spent all evening pretending I wasn't drunk, when Carol clearly knew I was, I knew I was, and so did the cats!

Considering the disaster of a day that I had, it would have been better if I HAD been at work!!

Post 29: Posted by Richard Webber on Friday, Feb 20, 2009 at 21:51

Hope you all had a good day guys. Sorry I couldnt be there - oh the joys of work!!!!

Post 28: Posted by Colin Wouldham on Thursday, Feb 19, 2009 at 23:45

Hi Andy, I got your phone message tonight when I got in from work at 9.20pm but sadly you'd already gone to bed - you're taking this golf lark seriously!

I'm dropping my car off at mum and dad's ideally so if you are OK to give me a lift from Welling can you please give me a ring at any time up until 8.20am at home? If I don't hear from you I'll drive to the golf - it's no big deal, I just fancied a beer or two afterwards!

My mobile no is 07790 400329. I'm so good at organising this sort of thing aren't I!

Post 27: Posted by Andy Redman on Thursday, Feb 19, 2009 at 11:34

Not sure why the message board is ignoring the fact that I left a message ~ so, I'm trying again!

Post 26: Posted by Andy Redman on Thursday, Feb 19, 2009 at 11:14

Yes Colin ~ I am picking Richard up as well ~ give me a call on my mobile ~07970 488303 and I will sort it out.
I won't be hanging around too long after the game as we may be going out.
Weather looks set fair!

Post 25: Posted by Matthew Bulpitt on Thursday, Feb 19, 2009 at 11:05

Hi Colin, Sorry - have a car full tomorrow with Splinters taking the extra seat...

Have arranged for a cab / misses, to drive us home, so am around for a few beers after. Is Gail coming up with the children? Most WAGs are taking the opportunity to hit Bluewater etc, but I'm sure my girls will also take the chance to go to the "pub" (They take after their mother in other ways to balance them out I'm sure!?!)

Looking forward to tomorrow

Post 24: Posted by Colin Wouldham on Thursday, Feb 19, 2009 at 10:11

Is there anyone who is golfing tomorrow who would be able to pick me up from Welling in the morning?

Post 23: Posted by Colin Wouldham on Sunday, Feb 15, 2009 at 14:18

Rich are you going to hit a few at the range?

Post 22: Posted by Richard Page on Saturday, Feb 14, 2009 at 21:14

let me know about tomorrow Mr Wouldham....

Post 21: Posted by Richard Page on Saturday, Feb 14, 2009 at 21:12

more like rugby - last time I saw you play most shots went sideways!!!

Post 20: Posted by Will Bisley on Friday, Feb 13, 2009 at 13:54

Good to hear, personally I consider my golf game to be more like a game of hockey...

Post 19: Posted by Peter Swain on Friday, Feb 13, 2009 at 13:26

My you boys are keen! I trust it will show in your performance next Friday. I will stick to warming up on the first 18 holes (for the bar that is!). You will be pleased to note that I have far more success hitting the ball along the ground at golf!

Post 18: Posted by Richard Page on Wednesday, Feb 11, 2009 at 20:20

i don't mind colin, usually the world of golf off the sidcup road, but if you know of any that are more conveniently placed then that is good. was thinking getting there for three thirty then on to nets after

Post 17: Posted by Colin Wouldham on Wednesday, Feb 11, 2009 at 17:20

Not a bad idea at all Mr Page - which range are you thinking of?

Post 16: Posted by Richard Page on Wednesday, Feb 11, 2009 at 14:00

Gents - as I am a bit rusty I was thinking I may head to the range on sunday (pre nets) to hit a few balls - to try and shake off the cobwebs. anyone fancy it??

Lucy was "working" in a Charity shop as part of her Brownie activities yesterday so I had to pop down and buy something. You'll all be thrilled to hear that I bough a new set of golf clubs for 20 quid - I have a feeling they are utter pants, which will match my game nicely. I bought them simply because the bag has legs (which is more than me these days).

I invite you all to laugh at my clubs on the day.

Take care everyone

hi all golf day good for me as well,

Post 11: Posted by Will Bisley on Sunday, Nov 30, 2008 at 12:42

Rich, if you do make it to the golf day, you're going to have to give us all lessons in how you were able to pull off the great escape...

Post 10: Posted by Colin Wouldham on Thursday, Nov 27, 2008 at 12:26

...since if you do, Andy won't be fine.

smiley for :)

Post 9: Posted by Andy Redman on Thursday, Nov 27, 2008 at 07:48

Can't see a problem myself ~ she'll be fine... but don't tell her I said that

Post 8: Posted by Will Bisley on Wednesday, Nov 26, 2008 at 11:53

That would be a no then...

Post 7: Posted by Richard Page on Thursday, Nov 20, 2008 at 18:46

great stuff Matt - I will/should/will try to be there, sorry can't be more confident at the moment but Abigail is due two days before that

Post 6: Posted by Will Bisley on Saturday, Nov 08, 2008 at 17:02

Sounds good to me, I have to warn you like my batting, I am prone to edging (slicing) the golf ball... Plus I will require a handycap the same size as my batting average (34.8). smiley for

Nice work Social Sec ~ it's in the diary.

Post 4: Posted by Colin Wouldham on Friday, Nov 07, 2008 at 13:11

Having not dusted off the old clubs since before Lucy was born, this could be carnage. I warn you all now, I hit a cricket ball further than a golf ball.

Post 3: Posted by Peter Swain on Thursday, Nov 06, 2008 at 14:20

Sounds good Matt. I have already put it in the diary.
