Congratulations to the winners! I am pleased to hear that I was last. A good consistent performance across the whole season from my team I see!

Post 23: Posted by Gary Bill on Monday, Sep 28, 2009 at 13:24

I have just done the final table, and would like to congulate paul dryden ( a fellow postie) who just held off a late surge from our very own coach to take the 50 quid prize. Derek take's 30 quid. The lowest club member was afriad the skipper who finished 12th. I will post a full final table on here in due course.

I've got a feeling that Mr Bill is actually winning and is being humble !!

Post 21: Posted by Peter Swain on Friday, Sep 25, 2009 at 14:47

Whislt having a little dig at Mr Bill earlier, it occurred to me that it has been a while since we heard how far behind some of us were in this competetion. Could it be that Mr Bill isn't winning, or is he stil trying to manipulate scores in his favour? Anyway it will be good to hear how far last I am. As we all know by now, what would Aussies know about cricket!

I've given up guys, - I'll contribute some prize money for the winner in lieu of putting a team in!

Post 19: Posted by Peter Swain on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 13:23

Are all the teams in yet? How is everyone doing?

Post 18: Posted by Peter Swain on Thursday, May 07, 2009 at 12:22

Nice one Gary. Colin and Richard do realise that no team means no points being scored? Perhaps they are so confident they are allowing the rest of us a head start? Mind you I'm not sure if my motley bunch have been up to much yet.

Post 17: Posted by Gary Bill on Wednesday, May 06, 2009 at 18:58

Hi, yeah andy got your team thank's. Pete just waiting on colin's and richard's team then with the first table u will get a full list of team's picked by everyone.

Post 16: Posted by Peter Swain on Tuesday, May 05, 2009 at 12:10

Once all teams are in, could we have them all posted so that we can keep tabs on who is doing well, and also give us a chance to make sure Mr Bill doesn't have more than 11 or chooses his team at the end of the season! I am sure with his expert knowledge of the county game no such bending of the rules would be necessary?

Gary, can you confirm that you received my team via email last week please.
Cheers

Thanks Gary, I will try and deal with it today ~ perhaps I will cancel my visit from an inspector as I have better things to do with my time (like cricket) than discussing targets!

Post 11: Posted by Gary Bill on Thursday, Apr 30, 2009 at 18:40

No limit on picking player's with high rating's andy. Your right to avoid england player's as u will not score point's while they away. Also will not be a transfer window this year. To score point's from sun game's i need team's by sun.

Post 10: Posted by Andy Redman on Wednesday, Apr 29, 2009 at 16:50

A couple of questions from me too ~ similar to Pete if not the same! i'm trying to avoid players likely to be called up for internationals ~ what happens if they do?
Also, is there a limit on choosing players with high ratings?

Post 9: Posted by Peter Swain on Friday, Apr 24, 2009 at 12:39

Are there any other rules Gary, or can we just select anyone provided only 2 from 1 county? Are there player values and a squad cap like football fantasy leagues? Any transfer windows?

Post 8: Posted by Gary Bill on Thursday, Apr 23, 2009 at 14:19

Good to hear u r all up for it. Point's will begin from game's played may 3rd. So a bit of time to check the early season form on teletext.:-) can't remember if i put in first thread but it is only two player's per county

Post 7: Posted by Peter Swain on Monday, Apr 20, 2009 at 12:17

I know even less on the county game, but am willing to try my luck. Any chance of a wooden spoon prize? Does Gary a have registered charity number so I can claim gift aid?

Post 2: Posted by Colin Wouldham on Friday, Apr 17, 2009 at 17:07

Is this a "Gary Bill Get Rich Quick" scheme I wonder?! I'm in but I have bog all chance of winning, knowing nowt about the county game. Sounds a grin though.

Post 1: Posted by Gary Bill on Friday, Apr 17, 2009 at 16:26

Hi all. I was wondering if anybody would like to come into a fantasy cricket league i'm willing to arrange? It will b a very basic scoreing system based on run's scored.' wicket's and catches taken in the 4 domestic comp's. All u need to do is submit a team to me by 3rd may. Was thinking we could do a 5 pound entry fee and depending on number's winner take's all or have a 2nd prize as well.
